The service at Five Wents Hall at the exact time, day and month of the 100 th anniversary of the ending of the First World War was well attended by at least 200 local residents. The Air Training Corps and Scouts were well represented in great numbers and formed the procession into the Hall at the start of the event. This was led by our new local vicar Johnny Douglas supported by Harry Chapman of the Royal British Legion. Wreaths were again laid by our local organisations which will be on display outside the Hall for a short period.. Many residents stayed to chat over cups of tea and coffee.
Apologies to car drivers over the limited parking spaces, hope they managed to find somewhere nearby.
